Hi. I'm running Boinc for a couple of weeks now. In the beta test I could download almost two wu in two days. Since it changed to then seti site it's impossible for me to get any.

My preferences are:

Confirm before connect to internet: yes ('cause of dialup modem)
Keep work for 1 to 2 days
Use no more than 1 GB
Leave at last 0.1 GB free
Use no more than 90% of total space

The other prefs of the general prefs are turned to yes, other prefs are not specified.

Any solutions?

Best wishes from germany.

Michael

What messages are you getting? You might want to try reentering the disk preferences sometimes they dont take right, make sure you put the leading zero in 0.1.

Also, make sure that you are attached to the proper URL. http://setiathome.berkeley.edu is the only one that works for me now for seti@home.

Youre not getting any WU's because they don't like you

>increase the number of days to store wU's from 1 to 2 to 5 to 7. there seems to be a problem with downloading wu's if the days are low. (that i am expericing) i have had to increase my days from 3 to 4 to 12 to 15 just to get enough wu's to last 4 days.
