Would like to run Seti Boinc on an iBook G3 running OS X 10.1.5. Does anyone know how I could acccomplish this without upgrading to Panther?

I can't say with 100% certainty, but based on my experiences and what I've read here, I don't think it will work on less than 10.3 reliably. You could try, and it might, but it might not. Probably better to upgrade if you can.
