It would be nice if people posting to these threads would use the search feature to find the answer to their questions. Almost every question has been asked and answered here at one time or another. You will find your answer faster with a search than waiting for someone to reply.

And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer.

Now if only there was some way to search previous posts to see if your thoughts had been written about before ;)

I really do wish a BB program would do an automatic search based off the title (exclude designated off-topic boards). But even then, wording and not knowing the correct term, would nullify many searches.

Still looking for something profound or inspirational to place here.

Go to this page(http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/forum_text_search_form.php)and you will see there already is a way to search.

I see the sarcasm was lost on you.

I also missed a few words (damned typing 30 wpm and thinking at a 1000), it should have read: I really do wish a BB program would do an automatic search based off the title when creating a new thread.
Thus, when you were posting a new thread, the server would shoot back matching threads before it put your message up. (yeah I'm very familiar with "search")
