This is kind of weird. My results show a claimed credit of 37-38 for a typical 12,000 second wu until the 16th when it drops to 28-29.

The same is true of my Einstein results where a 33,000 second job used to claim 95-100 now seems to claim 75.

Also my Predictor results show a drop from 30 for a 10,000 second job to 23.

It is difficult to see if CPDN has altered, and there is no LHC work at the moment.

My machine has not changed in this period, and looking at the benchmarks I'm getting arouns 1280 Whetstones as usual. What I did do on the 16th was change my BOINC core client from 4.19 to 4.25.

Can anyone explain this?

This has been discussed a.o. here.

It is indeed true that v4.25 gives other and lower results of benchmark compared to earlier versions. The benchmark results with v4.19 and lower were incorrect.

Yes, I got the answer from Einstein...

Prior to 4.2x the windows client was returning bad benchmark scores, resulting in too much credit being requested. This has been corrected in the lastest versions.

... not personally you understand, from a reputable member at Einstein!!!

*** EDIT ***

I beg his pardon, he was a Predictor, not an Einstein!
