Anyone else notice lower cpu temps lately? I have 2 crunchers at cpu 32-34C where they would normally be at 42-44C. I just wondered if there's maybe something different with the current batch of work units that causes less heat to be generated when processing. My temps are more like what I'd see when idleing although cpu usage is at 100% and the units are processing normaly. Strange!! My computer used to run at 115-122F. Right now it is running at 95-102...also no big change in ambient temp. Don |

I WISH! Room ambient here in Dubai is now up to 34C at 1500 hrs. My dual P4 CPU temp is 78C, dropping to 74C at 0600 hrs. Join the #1 UAE Team. |

My Prescott normally runs 55-60C with Boinc running. Haven't noticed any recent drops in temp. Ambient has been constant. :) Dig |
