Error -113 is normally assosiated with your internet connection being down. Check your net access. Good luck and happy crunching BOINC-Wiki-Thanks Paul It's not the speed but the quality. Until I get a faster computer. |

And if the explantion is not good enough you can yell at me and I will get on it ... The fastest way to get in there is to click on the signaure or the link below ... |

ok i'll have a look at my net connection...I have Boinc set to always be on...sometimes i'm not online could that be way i get the error? plus i share my puter with my step daughter, and she has her own desk top, could that be a possiblity of why there are errors?... I dont really know that much about programs & computers... "never regret something that once made you smile"<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v512/aspyrain/aspyrain3.gif"> |

> ok i'll have a look at my net connection...I have Boinc set to always be > on. By always on, do you mean you have it set to "run Always"? If so this just means it'll always crunch WUs as long as some other application isn't using the CPU. ..sometimes i'm not online could that be way i get the error? This Message just indicates that it can't connect to Seti. I use Dial up and see that message all the time. > plus i share my puter with my step daughter, and she has her own desk top, could > that be a possiblity of why there are errors?... Not likely. IMO > I dont really know that much about programs & computers... > Check internet connection. While online, click on the "Projects" tab, then select "Seti@home" then select "Update project or Retry now". then open the "messages" tab and watch it as it attempts to connect. If you see where the scheduler succeeded, then you're ok. If you see "Failed" at the end then wait 10 min and try again. report results back here and you'll get help hope this helps tony |
