I was wondering why my credits remained the same on http://www.boincsynergy.com for two days now. So I downloaded the stats file from here http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/ and searched for my name and ID. I found it. The numbers are still the same as 2 days ago (Total: 40,616). My Account shows correct numbers (Total: 41,283).

Please check.

Hi,

it sure looks like there's something wrong with the xml stats.
Either of Zain Upton's and Willy de Zutter's stat pages are showing numbers that
are too low.

The daily credit has dropped by more than 1/2 for all users.

I see the same problem - the file seems to be getting touched as usual, but my own stats are not getting updated in the .xml file (though they are getting updated off the "Your Account" link. So whatever process is generating the .xml file seems to be using old data.

It was my contention earlier today in another post, that the timing of this issue corresponds to the starting of the DB Purger/deleter. Is it possible that with the heavy use of the DB by the Purger/Deleter, that the external stat pages can't update?

just a question, to a possible answer.

I find that my stats from the boincsynergy site doesn't reflect not only recent S@H credits, but also E@H and P@H. Stats were different yesterday morning, but last night and this evening have remained the same.

Not all stats update at the same time everyday. I personally
know that S@H Did update to most current stats available to it
on the BOINCSynergy Site. There was a small difference but I know it will
never match...

Bob Mundays Stats sometimes are even slower to refresh...
BTW Make sure you refresh the stats page and make sure you have a fresh view.

I know that diff stat pages update at diff intervals and they do not always accurately reflect someones credit when they want. I was just mentioning that the stats for other projects are not up-to-date also at the site (at least mine aren't). I updated the projects in boinc, visited each project account page, then checked some of the stat pages. I didn't want to make a stupid post (again).

I have been poking Willie about the stats in the USA list for BOINC (all projects) and as of this morning it was "bent", this afternoon the number seem more "reasonable" ...

Well, one guy near me had moved 32,000+ spaces in the last week, 2 last day, and 30,000 in the last month.

For some reason the extra 2,000 positions seemed a little "odd" to me, or "bent" ...

worse is the fact that I had dropped down to 266 in world stats. Now this is really distressing as I added a dual Xeon 3.4 to the Farm and my world position drops??? ...

Maybe for a little while Dell was trying to get me or something ...

Anyway, this afternoon the page is looking more reasonable, especially in that I am moving up in numbers as I expected ... Now, if I could only get my wireless network working I would be real happy ...

The only other good news today is that OS-X v.10.5, aka "Tiger" will be shipping at the end of the month ... For those with Macs that want to upgrade to Tiger, Amazon has it on pre-order sale ...

I have to admit that my source is not as official as a Microsoft source on the delivery dates of Operating Systems ...

I had put my faith in www.apple.com, which may have not been a good thing ...

ok, humor over ... :)

Even better news (maybe) is that the rumor sites are saying that Apple may introduce the new PowereMac G5s next week. I hope so, I really do want to upgrade my workstation to something faster ...

Here is hoping that they will be dual dual-core 3.0 GHz ...

Then maybe I will think about dropping one computer off the other end ... the last of the single core-single threaded machines ....

I've noticed a problem with the credits Seti@Home shows and what the xml feed is apparently showing for at least the last 3-4 days now. The difference has ranged between 400-700 credits.
