When I joined SAH/BOINC the project URL that was sent to me along with my account ID was http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/ but the actual project url is http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/. Has this been fixed?

Looking under the directory Boinc/projects I still have "setiathome.berkeley.edu".

Therefore my believe is that the actual URL is still setiathome.berkeley.edu.

If you try to connect to the project using the URL http://setiathome.berkeley.edu you will get an error. The project URL is http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/

The setiweb URL is just where all the web pages are. The master URL is http://setiathome.berkeley.edu and should stay that way. The various subsystems will have different URLs that may change but BOINC will pick them up from the master URL.

Ok thanks John.

I don't know why I got an error the first time. I detached from the setiweb URL and reattached with SAH URL and it worked this time.
