I started using BOINC a while back and due to the probs with Seti@home and lack of WU I started using Predictor@home at (http://predictor.scripps.edu/) so my systems wouldnt be idle they are reporting thier BOINC is 3.20
Is this thier Predictor@home client/app or do they have thier own CORE version?

The currenty CORE client I am using is boinc_3.18 (linux) and 3.19 (windows), which is running setiathome_3.08.

I have two directory under my /projects directory
predictor.scripps.edu and setiathome.berkeley.edu

Also I noticed that if I have both running and I detatch a project and reattach the one that wasnt attached immediately downloads more WU?

Now do we
a. download a BOINC master/controller ap
b. have to attach the project instead of having it automatically open..this will prevent the BOINC missmatch...one central controlling entity for the BOINC master/controller

3.20 started beng tested on the alpha project late last week. It seems to be fine, so based on early reports, and a need to get some bugs out of the way, the predictor project has asked that all hosts there upgrade to 3.20.

I have been using 3.20 on both S@H and Predictor for a few days, and it seems to be doing fine.

Just download the 3.20 and install it over the top of your current version. It should work fine.
