I'm new to set@home and BOINC, got it running a few weeks ago.
Since yesterday, all my projects are "status :suspended". some say ready to run, or paused.
I didnt pause them myself; I did update, to see what would happen. But since they jobs arent finished, I ended up having two isntances of a project, i.e., two SETI@home, two Protein Predictor.
This seemed to coincide with me installing Apache. The apache installation is fine, though I dont know if there could be some type of conflict, as they both work with the localhost.
Could anyone give me some insight into this?

Are you seeing this on the "Projects" tab? or the "Messages" tab? or both?

Which Boinc Core client version are you running? (i.e. 4.19, 4.25, 4.27)

If you click on "file" is there a check mark next to "Disable Boinc Network Access"

Hi

Check if you have choosen run on preferences then click on run allways.
My son and brother had the same problem since 4.25.

I have Apache and boinc running together no probs on a linux box. If you want to try rule out Apache you could change its config file to use a port other than 80 then restart it just to see if things get better.

Check under the Messages Tab and see if the Benchmarking was the last thing that was done. I have found several of my machines suspended for 1 or 2 days and found them to be hung up running the Benchmark. I exited Boinc and restarted it and it immediately run the Benchmark again with no problem and continued normally

Of all the ports SETI or BOINC might use, 80 seems most unlikely.

I'm a fool.
I usually just let it run, and periodically, update the projects.
I never really go into "File", excetp when I first started.
I checked it, just as someone asked, and yes my projects were suspended.
I didnt notice earlier that there was a suspend option in the file menu; I clicked it by accident.
:sheepish grin:

I have had it set to "Run Always"; is there another way to suspend all of them at once, w/o using the menu?

Thanks, anyhow. :)
