I convinced my adult daughter to run BOINC and attach to Predictor and SETI. She downloaded the new GUI version to her new iMac. It runs SETI just fine but produces a calculation error and which is listed under work completed in the Main Menu. Since SETI is running fine, it would appear that BOINC is functioning on her Mac just fine. So why isn't Predictor working correctly. She's tried Update, Reset and even reinstalling BOINC from the downloaded file. Would anyone have a clue as to why this is happening. I feel responsible for the problem since I'm the one who talked her into running this. She's in Virginia and I'm in Colorado so I can't exactly stroll over to her home to work on this myself.

Thanks

Hi team,

the simple-GUI version of BOINC cannot run Predictor yet. I had the same problem and someone explained it to me here: http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=2140

CPDN is not ready for BOINC 4.25 on Macs yet, only Windows and Linux.
This version now requires the files to be 'signed' internally with a large alpha/numeric number.
You'll need to use 4.19 until the overworked programmer can get to it.

And 4.25 is still not 'official' here yet. But Real Soon Now.
