I have BOINC 4.19 installed and have been running SETI for a month or so. I just downloaded and installed v2 of BOINC MenuBar for Mac OSX 10.3.8.

But for the last couple days, SETI hasn't been running at all. I can see the project there, but clicking on update doesn't do anything.

Start is greyed out (like it usually is when running), but Current Projects: says "None Running".

The log says "Deferring communication with project for 6 days..." over and over again.

SETI/BOINC is running perfectly on my Windoze notebook.

Is this expected? Known?

you can reattach to the project.
But you'll probably get into the same problem with next result due to some bug in part of the software.

I fixed that by using Team MacNN client:

Do not use it with MenuBar - not compatible.
