Hello, Is there any chance of a statically linked version of boinc/seti any time soon? I have a good number of diskless machines, but alas they're based on the 2.2.14 linux kernel, and there's just no (feasible) way to satisfy all the library dependencies to get setiboinc to run... -mike |

Yes, I have posted statically linked versions of boinc for some time (see my sig). I also now have a static seti client too: http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?p=3446752&postcount=45 Ned *** My Guide to Compiling Optimised BOINC and SETI Clients *** *** Download Optimised BOINC and SETI Clients for Linux Here *** |
