What's going on here? I keep getting this message in BOINC: "No schedulers responded" "Deferring communication with project for (x-time)" I can't download new WU's or upload completed ones? Reason/solution anyone? |

Generally this means the client cannot talk to the server for some reason. If that computer has connected before there is normally no action needed on your part. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |

Ok so my next question is - will the server only communicate with the client inbetween certain times? Because I always manage to download/upload WU's in the mid afternoon and not late at night/early morning? |

Because I always manage to download/upload WU's in > the mid afternoon and not late at night/early morning? > It should be online and talking to crunchers 24/7, but they had problems with some service providers outside the project atm (ISP cut them off and Blackout for the whole building), so it's not that fine sometimes. BTW: The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein. Gruesse vom Saenger For questions about Boinc look in the BOINC-Wiki |
