I was running BOINC v4.19 with no problems and upgraded to v4.25. Per request, I removed 4.19 before I uploaded 4.25 Now it will not report results. Here is the message series: 4/4/2005 3:51:26 AM||Can't resolve hostname [setiathome.berkeley.edu] (valid name, no data record of requested type) 4/4/2005 3:51:26 AM|SETI@home|Couldn't read master page for SETI@home: error -113 4/4/2005 3:51:26 AM|SETI@home|Master file fetch failed 4/4/2005 3:51:27 AM|SETI@home|Deferring communication with project for 12 minutes and 6 seconds 4/4/2005 3:53:49 AM||Can't resolve hostname [setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu] (valid name, no data record of requested type) 4/4/2005 3:53:49 AM|SETI@home|Couldn't start upload of 13ja05ab.8878.1218.498588.28_4_0 4/4/2005 3:53:49 AM|SETI@home|URL http://setiboincdata.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/file_upload_handler: error -113 What is the problem here? |

Did you uninstalled v4.19 or removed it? Uninstalling is not the same as removing. |

Bill, The SETI scheduler seems to be down, even though the site claims it it up. i don't think anyone is getting a connection, so there you are. personally, i'm going to add a new project. |

I got a message that said it couldn't remove all of the components; that was O.K. by me. Mullet, thanks for your answer. A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part! |

Just an FYI: apparently the server WAS down, as I shut off the computer last night and when I turned it on this evening it uploaded the 5 completed work units that were waiting and downloaded 3 more work units to crunch. Problem (apparently) solved. A lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part! |
