BOINC version 3.19, Intel P4 @ 3.00 MHz, Abit IC7 MB, O/S is Win2k w/SP4.
I have far fewer WUs ready to run than my preferences request. My preferences ask for 3 to 5 days of WUs. Here is a list of my computers, the WUs ready to run, and the average WUs completed per day:

Computer Ready to run Avg per day
#1 7 8.5
#2 4 7.29
#3 13 7.36
#4 12 8.6
#5 11 15.0

Even when I click on update, BOINC does not attempt to download more WUs.

I have to turn off some of my computers in very hot weather; there should be a function to prevent BOINC from downloading WUs on a per computer basis while still permitting uploads of results. Preferences has no effect in this regard. Preferences apparently ignored.

Additional information: Computer #2, the one that has 4 WUs ready to run, but consumes 7.29 per day, now has only 3 WUs ready to run. I clicked on "Update" and it connected to the scheduler, but nothing was downloaded. According to the file, sched_request.xml, it is asking for 0.00000 seconds of work!!!!! Why?

Something is going wrong with the "Completion Time" since 2 days.
You can read everything about it in this thread.

Greetings from Belgium.
