I have just started a second Mac on seti. My G4 work fine.

This one keeps getting this error message:

exited with zero status but no 'finished' file

I have "reset" several times, but still no change. Any ideas about what is going on?

thanks...

What version of the OS are you using? It seems to be pretty well established that 10.2.8 does not reliably work with BOINC.

thanks. That answers my question. On that older computer I am still running 10.2.8! Maybe I'll go back to classic for it.

That'll work. Depending on the machine you may be able to get it upgraded to 10.3 so that it can utilize BOINC. You might consider XPostFacto (see versiontracker or google for a link). I didn't have complete success in upgrading my machine, but that was because it was a special case (very old machine).

Let me know if I can help more.
