Can someone explain (or point me to a thread that explains) credit units? I realize they are different sizes for different units, but what does 1 credit unit represent? Is it a measurement of cpu time? Is it a measurement of actual calculations?

Thanks,
Ron

Hi

Its a mix of calculation time and your benchmarks.

But Paul D Buck has a good info page where you can read about it.

The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein.

For information regarding Credits look here!
