Someplace between weeks and months. If you come over, you may wish to consider joining several BOINC projects.

John, I had been crunching only SETI Classic in hopes of reaching 25K (I'm now just above 22K and might have made it by July 1st). I'm back here at BOINC now but wondering, might I have a chance to reach 25K if I switch back now? Even a chance and I would do it.

Matt in another thread made a mention that they're looking at the closure of Classic within a matter of weeks, supposedly aiming for the first week of April to make a public announcement. They've achieved step one, which was notifying people of it's closure and to switch over to SETIBOINC. Berkeley will stagger the shutdown procedures so if you want to try and get there, start now. You probably won't make it if you need to July but you have some time to rack up a nevertheless impressive score. If not, welcome to BOINC!!!
