could you give me a bit more info? I haven't a clue about the "Seti Cursor". I haven't heard about any program that required installing a "cursor". Perhaps, if you defined what you wanted a little more it would ring a bell.

Ready to help

Thanks for responding, I guess I learn something new everyday. I didn't even know of its existence. Since I don't know....well I can't help. There should be someone along shortly who can help you install a cursor within windows. I've downloaded it and will play with it to see if I can get it to work.

sorry I can't help as of yet.

OK I've got it installed, and it's an annoying little cursor. Here's how I installed it if your using WinXP:

Click on Start, then "Control Panel", then select "Mouse", then "pointers", then browse to find the file you downloaded and select it. It worked for me.

For those of us that don't want to download and install an "annoying little cursor" but think it might be annoying in an annoying cool way, what's the cursor look like/do? :-)

I d/l and previewed it without installing. It looks like a dish transmitting into space, not much detail and is black&white. Looks allright for what it is but if you do use it I suggest using in place of hour glass or you will see too much of it.

98SE XP2500+ @ 2.1 GHz Boinc v5.8.8

And God said"Let there be light."But then the program crashed because he was trying to access the 'light' property of a NULL universe pointer.

Nice, thanks. Sometimes I think I see the hourglass more often than the other cursors on some of my computers :-)

Yea, the hour glass works best. They forgot to make a hot spot for the seti cursor. As is when using it for the pointer, it's to hard to to select an object with it. Maybe I'll dig up my cursor program and design a better one.
