I'm new to seti@home, and registered at boinc. The boinc manager says its 100% complete with two projects but my account still says zero credits? What do I need to do to activate my account?

Since you've already gotten and done WUs then you have activated your account. Credits are granted in Cobblestones, not on a per WU basis, as was the case in Classic Seti.

Each WU is sent out to 4 hosts (computers), then when they're returned, the results are compared and then credits are granted. it's not instantaneous as it was in Classic. This was done to cut down on cheating and ensure accurate results.

Paul D Buck has a wonderful documentation website that will tell you more than you ever wanted to know about Boinc. I have done a search of his site and by clicking on this you will be taken to the "C" page of his website, then scroll down to Credit. You may also want to click on the "Validation" link.

hope this helps

You also say that 2 are 100% complete - I presume in your 'work' tab. Have they up loaded? If they have they need to report!

In general, you will not see your credit score rise for about a week to ten days. Once you have some in the "queue" it will flow ...

You may also want to look at the FAQ I have on the site ... Click on my signature or the link below ...
