I have a team account for SETI and one for Einstein@Home. They are separate accounts, though. Is there a way that the two accounts can be combined or is the Einstein and SETI two different systems?

Einstein and S@H (and all of the other BOINC projects) are are separately run, and have separate accounts. However, the third party stats sites can join accounts across several projects provided a few things are true.

1) All of the projects must be joined with the same email address, including case. The internal Cross Project IDentifier (CPID) is hashed with the email address to generate the external CPID (which the stats sites see).

2) There must be a path from project server to host to project server that covers all projects.

3) The server for each project where the CPID will change must be successfully contacted. Which project(s) will get a new CPID changes depending on the version of BOINC. With 4.19 and earlier, the project with the numerically largest CPID wins. With 4.20 and later, the project with the oldest join date wins. All other projects with a different CPID will change to that CPID. Successful contact also has a different meaning. In both cases 4.19 and 4.20, the project must be contacted. In 4.19, the server must return work if work was requested. In 4.20 and later, the scheduler must merely be contacted (it must not say "no scheduler replied" or anything else that notes a communications failure.

4) The projects must update their stats XML files.

5) The external stats site(s) must collect the projects XML files.
