Please keep your flames to your self.
I really would like my info removed from BOINK.
I have no plans on using BOINK and see no reason to have my information included.

There was no reason to move peoples acount info from one project to another. With different projects having the ability to access BOINK account info, I would perfer not to have my info accessable.

Call it whining or moning or what ever you like, I would just like a BOINK admin to reply to this on how to remove my info.

They transferred account info from S@H classic to BOINC in order to make things easier for existing S@H users to transfer to BOINC.

You do realize that the S@H classic project will be turned off in the future? If you want to continue running S@H, you will need to switch to BOINC.

For a start its the same project, it is still SETI@home and if people went on the old website they can read your profile and view your stats if they have your email.

Its not BOINC, its SETI running on BOINC, this isn't BOINCS website it is the new SETI@home website.

Delete your profile, change your email, hide your computers, delete group and change name. Sorted

Good luck :)

All the miss info that is out there just boggles the mind.
It is SETI 2 Not SETI 1. There is a difference.

And all the other DC projects will run under??? BOINK. Ergo if BOINK is compromised all account info is.

This the closest to an answer so far. I should not have to do the work. I did not ask to me "migrated"

After 5+ years and 156,000 S@H1 Work units I think I understand what the reason for the move is. But thanks any way.

Now is there an admin that can remove my info from BOINK?
I have never given my OK to do anything with my account info except keep it within SETI1.

Actually, it's seti@home - period. Look at the logo at the top of the page and see what it says.

Boinc does not have an account on you. Seti@home does. If you add another project to your boinc software, you still have to establish an account there - they don't get their info from boinc.

If you access yahoo mail THROUGH internet explorer, has yahoo shared your account info with microsoft simply because their product was the middle man for your transaction? Hardly. All you do here with seti@home is access it THROUGH boinc - boinc is just the middle man.

Your info is still within seti@home (there's only 1 seti@home), right where you put it.

Do you complain that other branches of your bank can access your account and demand that only the branch where you opened that account have access to it? This is a "branch" of seti@home, just like those branches of your bank are all really the same place.

If you think boinc has any info on you, maybe you need to go to the boinc site and ask for it to be removed there. This is the seti@home site. You can find the boinc site at http://boinc.berkeley.edu.
