I have been getting messages similar to these for 24 plus hours. I have to dial in so I can't stay hooked up waiting. How do I get WU?????

Hello and welcome,

You arrived at a not that fine time, especially for new dial-uppers.
I can't help you with the problem atm, but I'll try to explain:

Due to some major outage (caused by the ISP, not by Seti-team), there is now a major congestion on the data highway @Berkeley.

The last message says, that you contacted too soon before. This is a precaution to prevent DoS attacs, you have to wait some time between two contacts, I think it was something like 10min. That's not so fine for dial-up in times of congestion, but otherwise it's a good security item.

BTW:
The (very good) manual for Boinc is the BOINC Powered Projects Documentation by Paul D. Buck and the FAQ therein.
