Hi
I downloaded the linux version and got it running. The seti project pages says there's 2 boinc programs. The client - which is what I have running : and the command tool where you can get the client state, show transfers etc. Well I see no command tool in my download nor any means of getting it on the seti site. They give the params for it but it aint there. Anyone got any knowledge on this or pointers. Thanks.

are you talking about the boincmanager? which version do you use?
there is no boincmanager in the "old" boinc 4.19.
you will have to download 4.27 to get it.

kboincspy is also a good programm to control boinc:

Hi Ian,

the GUI version currently is only available with windows. You can download the windows version from http://boinc.berkeley.edu/dl/boinc_4.25_windows_intelx86.exe.

For details you may want to check the FAQ at http://www.boinc-doc.net/_phpMyFAQ/index.php?action=artikel&cat=291807&id=350&artlang=en.
Kind regards,

teddi

If you're just interested in monitoring progress and are not concerned about controling the core client, you can use BOINCprog from: Trane's Programming Projects

If you wish to control the client, 4.27 is the way to go.
