The servers are working. Seti had problems with getting online. They are back on now, however there may be some up and downs as the problem is fixed.

And after any outage, there is major congestion. Think friday afternoon before a 3 day weekend on the freeways in any major city -- nobody moves.

SETI classic is back online of course(evening in Taiwan).

But the SETI of BOINC is still out of bounds but...the server status on webpage shows that everything's fine...>"

I *would* be nice if the server status on the SETI webpage reflected an accurate state of affairs, rather than the Pollyannaish "We're now fully back on-line." Most *everyone* seems to be experiencing just the opposite - "We're still fully off-line."

I am a user in Australia. Everytime Seti has an outage like this it is nearly imposssible for me to send completed workunits and about 50% of downloaded units time out. Both time out. I am on a cable connection so it seems tio be congestion at Berkerleys end. This has been consistant since SetiBoinc started.

Usually it clears up 24-48 hours after their systems are back up.

I have to agree Jina.

Seti-Classic also suffered it's outages, but once it was back up and online, normal service seemed to return much faster.

It has taken me over 24 hours with boinc to send about 7 result and get 13 new WU's.

I Have 14 results waiting to send, and need to down load at least another 17 before I have enough work to keep this PC occupied for another week.

With classic, once it had been back on line for 24 hours or so, I would be be fully stocked with WU's for future processing, and have sent in all my results.

Why do I want a weeks worth of work ready to do? (for me, thats about 35)

The recent outage was 4/5 days??

I am set-up to have a weeks worth of work on hand, and ran out after 3&1/2.

Foamy is "Lord and Master".
(Oh, + some Classic WUs too.)

The server status is finally on track now.../_\

PS:But I must add that the classical edition is with a worse stability(if you run other program at the same time)

>>One or more files...(blah blah blah~) if you still experiencing the problem please reinstall seti@home...

I've reinstalled several times and it still got me.I'll do my nut if it appears again~-_-

Really hope that the bugs or problems or whatsoever...can be rid of

We're to help but not to worry about corrupted files~though~_~
