In the spanish translation web site... php doesn't support sprecial characters. ( trash letters appear )

The translator should only use pure letters.

Strange, I can see my umlauts in the german version.

ÄÖÜäöüß is readable as just that for me.
No need for AeOeUeaeoeuesz ;)
Only the XML can't manage them, so I had to change my nick for the sig; but not for the fora.

Perhaps it's the browser settings.

Well Saenger - it just happens that you put your question with the title of spanish translation.

It seems that they are (at Berkeley) trying to put as much languajes as possible, but the problem is that there are many languajes that the English key board does not support the special markings.

Actually the way it looks in Spanish (while the effort is appreciated) is just awful!

I first had a look, whether there was some of the not-english-keyboard letters on the german version at all. And as there was (no umlaut is on it).
I have experienced myself very different views of the same site with different browser preferences, especially with the german umlauts, and spanish and scandinavian will behave the same way, I think.

If you look here, I can see even korean letters with the right setting in Netscape, or rubbish with the wrong.

Well Saenger - it just happens that both of us are wrong.

The solution is to go to the upper lip on your IE where it says see, then enter into codification and press the European occidental languaje and presto! everything goes OK

Just found out, it is our mistake - correct that and it is solved!!
