Depends. Are you comfortable with the command line? If you are, you can do this:

<B>more /path/to-boinc/client_state.xml | grep fraction_done</B>

This will list all the lines within that file, but only that contain the text "fraction_done". You will get something like this:

<B> (fraction_done)0.632114(/fraction_done) </B>

(I've changed the angle brackets to parenthesis to work here.) In the above example, the current work file is 63.2% complete. If you are good with Perl or command line you can proceed further. For me this is enough. I've added it to my ".tcshrc" file as an alias ("bs" of course).

Good luck,
