iDownload, that makes the iSearch toolbar, is threatening lawsuits against several websites that categorize the software as spyware or malware. That's right, they say their brand has been disparaged falsely.

iDownload is in cahoots with a Windows Media Player DRM acquisition trick. Overpeer, that's been putting spyware and adware junk files into file sharing networks, is also part of this crap. When you play a spy file in WMP, it opens a licence acquisition window in IE. After that, the loaded page tries to install bad stuffs on your puter. One of these bad files loads a page made by iDownload.
