I have switched over from Seti clasic to BOINC but I am wondering why BOINC is sending/recieving info over the network so often? It seems that it hits the network every few seconds! It also wants to go out when I wake up the screen saver. Anyone know what it is doing? I like the new system, but do not like info going out that I don't know about.

It uses local connections to do its job. These would be the connections. It only connects servers when it needs to

Evidently, it needs to connect every 2 seconds!!
