Hiho,

I just installed boinc and startet it. But it fails with this messages...

currently noone can get through - so at the moment it's impossible to tell if anything is wrong at all ;)

I tried 12 hours ago and couldn't up or download, and still can't, yet the server status page says all OK.

Avatar: there's nothing else to do right now - or perhabs maybe attaching to a secondary project in the meantime if you haven't already ;)

Rubernicus: yup, it seems to be the connection between the scheduler and the world that has a problem. The scheduler and the website are on different lines - so that's why we can get through to the website

Because the servers are all up, and the wire connecting them to the net is down.

But, this has been covered at length in other threads.

Our Internet link through Cogent went down at around midnight UTC. It is being looked at with an unknown time to fix.

The link to the Communications and Network Services page is extremely useful and will help in the future when the Seti Servers page says OK but we can't get through. Thanks for quoting it.
