Claimed Vs. Granted Credit

Why is granted credit always lower than requested credit. Granted credit is in th 25 to 50 percent range. WHY??? |

Credit granted is determined by dropping the high and low claimed credit. Granted credit is the average of the claimed credit left. If there are three results submitted then the granted credit will be the middle value. If four results are submitted before the results are validated then the granted credit will be the average of the middle two. If results are submitted after validation they will be granted whatever credit has already been awarded as long as they are not overdue. |

There is a known problem with hyperthreaded CPUs claiming too much credit, about 50 to 60 CS instead of the 32 CS that is normal. However your computer is claiming much more than that. Try manually rerunning your benchmarks to see if this will get you closer to what you should be claiming. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
