Hello All,

I am just wondering what the above option within BOINC does. I have done some hunting around and haven't found anything meaningful.

Well I guess it means your BOINC GUI can't connect to the Internet, in other words you can't upload or download any WU's...

That's what it does. If your on dial-up, you can prevent Boinc from trying to upload/download while your in the middle of some other Internet chore. Keep in mind that exiting Boinc or rebooting will cause the "disabled" setting to automatically switch to "enabled".
