Have anyone tried running BOINC as a windows service?
At the moment I'm running the "classic" s@h commandline client as a NT service using srvany.exe.
Any tips/tricks for doing the same with BOINC?

I did this using the same srvany.exe trick before, and it was fairly simple. You'll have to modify the instructions that the classic tutorial gives you a little (mainly so it starts boinc_cli.exe instead of SETI), but it's nothing that would be difficult to work out.

Also, the boinc_cli.exe includes an option to start itself up as a service. I belive the correct command like is "boinc_cli.exe -install". If you do that, it should register itself as a service, with no need to go through with srvany.exe at all =)
