I just downloaded the BOINC manager and all seems to be working well. I also seem to have a work unit processing on my old seti@home. Should I uninstall the old one because now I have 2 running? lol. Sorry If I sound stupid but I am not very good with tech stuff on my comp.
Please would dsomeone be kind enough in words of one syllable what I should do :) thanks in advance for your patience

I had to Uninstall the old seti@home to make it quit running. Go to "all programs" find seti@home group, in there you should see "uninstall seti@home". You may want to reboot after that. Good luck.

Thursday, March 17, 2005, 0552 Pacific Standard Time - I installed BOINC yesterday. It certainly appears that I do have two versions of seti@home running. Immediately after I complete this message I am going to UNINSTALL the OLD VERSION of seti@home. After I UNINSTALL I will reboot. If this creates any problems I will return to this site and report what the problems have been.
Live Long and Prosper.
