I will try to make this brief. I loaded BOINC and started Einstein@home when SETI@home was down. All was well. Now, after downloading setiathome I am receiving the following errors: 3/12/2003 12:26:36 AM|| Can't resolve hostname [setiathome.berkley.edu] (valid name, np data record of requested type) 3/12/2003 12:26:36 AM||http://setiathome.berkley.edu/|Couldn't read master page for http://setiathome.berkley.edu/: error -113 3/12/2003 12:26:36 AM||http://setiathome.berkley.edu/|Detaching from project - check for URL error 3/12/2003 12:26:36 AM||http://setiathome.berkley.edu/|Resetting project 3/12/2003 12:26:36 AM||http://setiathome.berkley.edu/|Detaching from project I'm beginning to feel as though I am all alone in outer space. So near and yet so far, like the signal we are searching for. Please help, but keep it simple, I would like to share the two projects on my computer SETI and Einstein Many thanks for any consideration, Eliz. Have a Great Day, Eliz. |

Some questions before being able to help you: 1. Is your PC running Windows and if yes what version of it? If you don't know and it is Windows, go to the desktop, point with the mouse on "My PC", right click and choose properties. Now you should be able to see what is the version of Windows you have. 2. Do you have on your PC a so called firewall, for example ZoneAlarm? Read the News at the homepage Have a look at the Technical News Look if your question is not answered at the Boinc Wiki Best greetings, Thierry |
