The way my preferences are set up right now, I get 2 WUs at a time. Is there any setting that I can change so that I have more, in order to make sure that if I lose internet access for a day or two that I'll have enough?

(Note: I changed the "Connect to network at most ___ days" and it affected it the other direction. Right now it's .1, and when I changed it to 1.5, it took me down to one at a time. I think this is what needs to be changed, but I want to be sure.)

that is the correct setting. if you want 2 days, set it to 2 days.

But when I changed it to 1.5 days, it made me only have one WU at a time... that doesn't seem right, considering I can do 20x that in 1 day.

Try Changing to 3 Days somtimes you have to manualy update. They are always generating new work units so you may have to manualy update to get 3 days worth. On DSL it does it fast on one of my 56K modems I have to update manualy to get several days worth.

It may take a few days to "fill the pipe" -- I'd make the change (to 3 days) and then sit back and let it process for a bit.
