Since a short period of time parts of the first site of the seti homepage are shown in german.

Where can I set up the prefered language of the website?

Mixed german and english looks awful..

Nje govarish porusskij?

It's a mixture of quick'n'dirty babelfish and leftover english. Lucky they hve just managed to destroy the Homepage ;)

Ach, seid lieb.

If there are problems, the only way at the moment is to change the prefered language in the browser options. This is possible for Firefox and Internetexplorer 6.x, I believe too for other modern browsers.

Because I use a german browser it seems not helpfully to tell you the menu path. ;) But in in Firefox it is easy to find.

your words aren't amusing. Internet is not berkeley.edu alone. the solution from my side is far simler: making link to http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_community.php instead of homepage.

So, bug report is withdrawn.

Ah! almost forgot: DON'T try to translate entire site!
