Heard yesterday at the latest whistle stop of Bush's SSI Piratization Bamboozlalapalooza road show. ....(open only to loyalty oath pledging Kentucky Rethugnants)

================================

MR. DEAN: I'm 66 years of age. I, like Gerald, have been drawing Social Security since I was 62. Call me a Pollyanna, but I have no fear that I will never be able to draw it. But I do have fears for my granddaughter, and all of my grandchildren, and even my children, your age --

THE PRESIDENT: Yes.

MR. DEAN: -- some about your age, as a matter of fact.

THE PRESIDENT: I'm 58. (Laughter.)

MR. DEAN: I'm sorry. They're not quite that old. (Laughter.)

THE PRESIDENT: I was about to say, eight-year-old father, fantastic. (Laughter.)

MR. DEAN: Well, I'm in Kentucky, you know?

_____________________

You just can't make this stuff up....

Bush sez the idea of an eight-year-old fathering children is ....."fantastic".

In his closing remarks, Bush also said:

"I want it to be said that we came to Washington, D.C., saw a significant problem and left behind a better America."

Please let me know if this doesn't bring up 2001 A Space Odyssey as portrayed by lego (tm) in 60 seconds.

Now searching for holy grail version...

Thank you, Magenta! These little movies are priceless! I'll imidiately post your link over in my team [url=http://mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/frontear/index.html]The Final Front Ear!<a> And I'm sure The Knights who say NI also will be interested!!!

And greetings here from Scandinavia, where spring is near, still quite cold today, though!

When you want to put on a link, you write <a href="[the url]"> [description]<a>

The HTML for Dummies is not required, but it could come handy sometimes when you don't remember how to make special signs such as &lt ; and &gt ;'s

Magenta, if you want a real cool avatar, you can have Captain Avatar making one for you or look at his work [url=http://www.captainavatar.com/]here<a>

Thanks for pointing this out. I would love a nice avatar (prior to you posting, it had taken be around a week to figure out what on earth an avatar was - nickname/signature at bottom of post/... :) ). I must admit, I've turned off the graphics at the moment, but am looking to up my cable limits (I really thought 1Gb per month would be enough).

I do love yours - are the glasses digitally imposed or was a mild-mannered cat involved?

Back to thread topic: Does anyone know where a can get a *good* copy of "How not to get an ass kicking by the police" by Chris Rock? I did a search, and all the copies I could locate - including the i-film copy - were very poor digital quality, and the voice quality varied as well.

Hi again, Magenta, and thanks! It also took me a while to figure out the lingo here, and an avatar is a pic under your alias in your posts here on the boards, as my intellectual cat. A sig is a statement, as I have it or a block telling one's credits in the different projects one participate in, and I have them turned off too!

I don't know about the cat, as it's one of Captain Avatar's works! So you must ask him about the circumstances, but it's not my cat! You can see my cat Bouncer Jupiter in my profile!
