after compiling the latest CVS, starting the client in an empty folder does not prompt for account information. it runs benchmarks and stops. this is happening on both an athlon64 and a k6-2. older releases of boinc have worked OK on other systems when i compiled those a few weeks ago. the http server isn't letting me in to get older (possible working) source. --------------------------- halo boinc # ls halo boinc # boinc_client 2005-03-10 20:34:44 [---] Starting BOINC client version 4.66 for x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu 2005-03-10 20:34:44 [---] No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 2005-03-10 20:34:44 [---] Running CPU benchmarks 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] Benchmark results: 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] Number of CPUs: 1 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] 1522 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] 3942 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] Finished CPU benchmarks 2005-03-10 20:35:43 [---] Resuming computation and network activity ----------------------------- localhost boinc # ls localhost boinc # boinc_client 2005-03-10 23:06:51 [---] Starting BOINC client version 4.66 for i586-pc-linux-gnu 2005-03-10 23:06:51 [---] No general preferences found - using BOINC defaults 2005-03-10 23:06:51 [---] Running CPU benchmarks 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] Benchmark results: 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] Number of CPUs: 1 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] 115 double precision MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] 277 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] Finished CPU benchmarks 2005-03-10 23:07:50 [---] Resuming computation and network activity ----------------------------- |
