I read a post a few days ago about how to edit the "client_state.xml" file to force the CLI client (particularly the linux client) to check in with Seti. Can anyone point me to the post or repost that information? Is there a FAQ posted somewhere? Thanks. |

The client will check in automatically when needed. You can hurry this with the -update PROJECTURL switch at the comandline. I do not know of any way to edit the client_state.xml file to do this. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
