I'm not able to un-gzip the BOINC client. It says the archive was corrupted but that's definitally not true. I'm using 'Arc' at SuSE Linux 9.1 32-bit edition.

I just tried it with gzip bash-version. Also tells me it's corrupted. I can't open any *.gz file, it tells me it's corrupted no matter what's inside it.

Solved it. Uses the wrong FTP Client. Use Konqueror instead of Mozilla to download.
