As you can see here, RAC took a big hike between 15 and 12 days ago when they switched over to the new database and the backlog of work units was quickly worked through. This sudden credit granting artificially inflated RAC for everyone and now it is returning to its original levels... I think :)

Hi Toby, I know that, but now is different. Now the position of the fists team are totally different from the position before the power outage....SETI.germany and Overclockers.UK that was at top have a rac of 25000....half of my team...maybe it's caused for a data lost?

A couple of days with no validation will lower anyones RAC by a lot. My personal RAC went down several hundred (between 300-400), because of the outage.

Let a week or so go by and allow things to get back to "normal" and we will really see where the RACs end up.

Only if they all reported during the same lost half-hour.

You 're - something must be wrong:

If I sum up our first five members (from nearly 1000 active):

Hans Dorn: 5264.22
W.Stindl: 4894.13
Honie: 4384.95
anders: 4163.54
gantenbein: 3775.44

Sum: 22,482.28

whereas our total RAC of Seti.Germany should be

17,815.95

So that could not be correct!

All values are from nearly the same Timestamp.

*evil grin*

Well whatever it is I say we keep it! BOINC Synergy for the first time ever is #1 on the RAC list for SETI@Home *hehe*. Sure we normally sit 10th ish (though moving up with a flurry of new members over the past 2 weeks)...

Something surely is afoot.

hmm... my daily history update just ran. Team RAC seems to have gone into free-fall but user RAC is relatively stable. Something isn't adding up (literally).

Hi,

not only are the values not reasonable, consistent, up to date etc. - moreover, they depend on 'sort_by' - you'll get different figures in differently sorted tables.

:-)

Very funny. My suggestion: Wait and see.

Any news on what has happened to the Teams RAC?

Our team has a total RAC of 13,536 and falling!

Our two top crunchers have RACs of 8,657 and 8,218 which by my simple math this doesn't add up!!!??!!!

At this rate one of our top crunchers is going to have a bigger RAC than the team as a whole!

Any thoughts?

Dunc
