Hi,

I ran SETI@Home years ago with an older account but due to the fact I got a new laptop, the laptop did not like Seti@home much (overheating problems).

Anyway I recently got a nice new PC, I installed the original seti@home on it and made a new account (unfortuynatly after the snapshot)

I completed a few work units on the old system and wondered if another snapshot would be done. I now use the new BOINC version and had to re-regester. I was just wondering if there was anychance of my old information being transferred?

Probably not. The stated policy is that anyone who signed up after the snapshot will not get the credits transferred. there is also a problem signing up sith the S@H1 account if the email address is different than the one registered with S@H1.

I used the same e-mail address for both. I just signed up for S@H1 two days after the snapshot.

Thats all.
