I've downloaded and installed boinc v4.23 without issue.

I don't run CPDN, so you're on your own there.
The 4.2x line of clients are developmental (alpha)software. Do not use unless your willing to replace burned out hardware, and to reload your operating system.

Nice said.
I was running every Alpha client since 2.xx neither Hard or software was corrupted by Boinc.

BTW. 4.23 is running fine so far, must have a look at einstein graphics what was not running with 4.21 and 4.22.
