Message 81874 - Posted: 22 Feb 2005, 14:54:48 UTC

I know I read it somewhere in the documentation... but now that I want to look it up, I can't find it.

Does anyone know the URL to where the creation of a Stat Box in the signature is explained? Thankx!

LOL.
Althogh I often enough state this:
A good manual for Boinc is Paul D. Bucks BOINC Powered Projects Documentation and his FAQ therein.
I didn't follow my advice myself and posted this question ;)
RTFM Sänger!
I hope I get it right (just testing):

Thanx everyone!

Captain Avatar:
I'd like to stick with my current team and try to make a stat box there, if possible, even if I could make it easier(?) to switch to a team that offers one ready-made.

Paul & Saenger:
As I said initially, I actually tried to look it up in the docs, but couldn't find it. I even did several searches on keywords... :)

Anyway, thanks again!

And none taken! :)

You too. I'm adding another computer to BOINC SETI@Home shortly. It's an AMD 2000+ machine that I'm planning to use as a media server beside the TV, so it can crunch WU's when I'm not using it to watch films or record TV-programs. :)

What words did you search my site that did not work?

I mean, if you did not find what you were looking for maybe I need to add something ...

I was trying to put html-code viewable in the post.
It didn't work. It's not that important, I'll stick with {} or [] brackets instead of > these (btw: How are they called in english?)

Well, the < and > are called angle brackets, and the [ ] are square brackets ...

You can use < and > you just need to learn how to put them in place, the only bad part is if you go back and edit the post, the HTML equivelent is not stored. I don't know why, I think they are missing a call in the PHP script to make that work right ...

You can look at my HTML Lesson if you want to learn more ... heck, use view source and you can see how big a pain it is to make the appearance come out right ...

Paul,

From what I remember, I tried at least these:

"stat box"
"statistics"
"signature"

and got lots of results, but those topics I read from there didn't show what I was after. Probably I didn't look long enough, but...

I also read the FAQ. :)

Hmm, I got 100% fit with Signature to HTML lesson which is where it is talked about ... :(

> I also read the FAQ. :)

I don't think I have anything there ... yet ...

I am not sure I will be able to do it soon though ...
