I see that grid communities start to grow like fruit on trees all around the world, but why does the new projects start as standalone of BOINC ? What starting user base will they have ? I'll just ask myself , it there is some campaign andor trend to refresh every new project by putting it on BOINC platform ?

Some people don't like crunching for ufo or whatver, but there are many medical-based projects right now, BOINC hosting just one? What are policies for project to join BOINC ? I thought it wasn't too hard or expensive, if you've got the right background .....

Cause it's the only boinc where you have direct choice if you want to compute more projects, right?

I've been participating in other non-boinc projects, but it is the thing of past now, cause BOINC now provides enough choice for projects (although not as big as I would like) , it's just that I'm waiting for them to be integrated into BOINC one day .
