Look at what else is on that site. Some guy posted this: 2005-02-20 12:17:11 AM Grand_Moff_Joseph This program is a great idea, but the "Boinc" software that it runs on is crap. SETI tried to switch to this platform, and was met with hellfire and brimstone by a majority of the users because Boinc was crap compared to the traditional SETI program. I'd use this new einstein program, but not with Boinc - all it did was mess up my PC. Cute.... It's obvious he does not run it. What he does not say is that the SETI servers is what is having a problem, not BOINC. EDIT: Here's another one: 2005-02-20 12:22:52 AM pummisher Now to think about it, the Boinc program is kind of crappy. It didn't mess up my computer or anything but it takes up so many resources. I think my other programs are affected by it. /EDIT: L8R.... T'Khasi Time: Saturday, 19 February 2005 - 11:00 PM --800 (Pacific Standard Time) CAPT Siran d'Vel'nahr - L L & P _\\// Winders 11 OS? Something with LOW priority taking up all his resources? Does he even know what his resources are? Boinc working properly should take advantage of ALL of his CPU's UNUSED resources. |

I am on Fark.com (my homepage) and saw this as well, some people just do not understand and will flame at anything. Wiki de BOINC <img src="http://www.boincstats.com/stats/banner.php?cpid=51a3eaaef8df276544f56140a8a65413"> |
