Hi space matrix.Yea, I've had it for two weeks now and it seems to be working just fine. It's kinda more accurate compared to AdAware. A little silly looking too. It also gives you a good list of your Winsock LSP's which good as well.

Contrary to what people might say about AdAware, it's really not that accurate. I also... use AdAware.

This is one the few Microsoft programs that stand out from others in this category. Oh, you might disable the Enable Allowed Alerts box cuz it can get very annoying after a while.

I will NOT use Micro$ofts anti-spyware utility. I am quite satisfied with Ad-Aware and Spybot - Search and destroy. I use Windoze XP only because I have to, I cannot write my own OS. I don't trust any other software coming out of Redmond, Washington and will not use it.

Not strange, since it isn't programmed by Microsoft. All they did was buy up the GIANT software company who makes the program and re-sticker it with their own name. Badly, I may add. It still points to Giant.

Paranoid? No! Logical? Yes! My PC is on 24/7 and I want no one gaining access to it and screwing things up. That's why I have made my PC invisible on the Internet. Even with my static IP address, no one can get to my PC. [Anyone out here that can, try. You won't get in.]

I trust nothing from Redmond, Washington because it is not secure software and M$ does not care unless they get a lot of pressure from outside. Why do you think they came out with SP2? To satisfy the people putting pressure on them to secure their software. Even the firewall is only 50% effective, if that. It only works one way, either in or out, don't remember off hand which. And, now people are finding security flaws in SP2. I knew that was going to happen.

And the truth shall reveal itself. That's exactly what they did when they came out with "MS-DOS". It was someone elses as well. Anything "good", coming out of M$, is someone elses work, not theirs.

Thanks [to be continued...]

Whoa, I just noticed this little notice next to this edit box. It states:

Do not use obscene language or threaten other participants; we may delete such messages. I wonder when that was added, and I wonder if adding that and whatever else, has screwed with the boards again.

Anyway.... Thanks Fat B., it's not everyday someone agrees with this Vuhlkanu.

Windows are made so that you can see out of your home. Logically, if you can see out, others can see in. Now, apply that logic to Windows™.
