I began using BOINC CP under my newest e-mail and while browsing around I learned about seti moving switching to BOINC. I sucessfuly moved my classic SETI to BOINC (losing wu's!) but now have SETI under old e-mail and cp under new e-mail. Will my credits appear under one or both with BOINC? Can I change my SETI address? Also do I have to remove SETI classic from my computers? I am not a techie so I need simple answers,I am slow but I do get there. seekerogw64@hotmail.com (old) captain.mercury@gmail.com (new) |

You should have one email address for all BOINC projects if you want the stats sites to recognize you as the same user. You should use all lowercase letters as well. You should remove seti classic once you get the BOINC version working. They will fight each other and classic is redundant. BOINC WIKI BOINCing since 2002/12/8 |
